Must-Haves for your Disney Trip: Top Amazon Purchases to Consider

WHAT I BOUGHT AND WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN
We just got back from our first trip to Walt Disney World with the kids (3 yr and 6 yr) and I'm still coming out of my post-Disney blues. Writing this has made me miss it even more! We planned our trip kind of fast and furious compared to most people. We literally booked less than 30 days before we left. Do I recommend that? NO! But we made it work! I did a lot of fast research on what to pack and thank goodness for Amazon! I am a Type-A planner and packer and I was stressed about this! But ultimately I ended up feeling confident with my packing choices once travel day came. Here's a rundown of my Amazon purchases and whether I'd recommend the specific purchase or not.

PORTABLE POWER BANKS
One of these is a must for the parks these days! This one gets bonus points for solar charging. I'd recommend one per adult if you think each adult will have high phone usage. We were fine with just one each day though.
ABSOLUTELY WOULD BUY AGAIN. IN FACT, THIS IS MY SECOND ONE BECAUSE I COULDN'T FIND MY ORIGINAL ONE I'VE HAD FOR A FEW YEARS.
WATERPROOF BACKPACK
I didn't really have any complaints with this backpack. I intentionally bought it smaller than my usual airplane travel backpack because I wanted to encourage myself to pack lighter for the parks. I like the charging port that connects to your power bank inside the bag. We luckily were never drenched so I didn't fully test the waterproof feature.
I'D PURCHASE THIS AGAIN. IT'S AN AFFORDABLE OPTION FOR CONTINUED USE AFTER YOUR TRIP AS WELL.
MULTICHARGER FOR MAGICBANDS
These were useful to have and I'll probably use them for trips in the future for charging other devices as well.
GRAB ONE OR TWO OF THESE IF YOU'LL HAVE MULTIPLE MAGICBANDS TO CHARGE EACH NIGHT.
MAGICBAND PROTECTORS
These little guys help keep your magic bands securely on your wrist. The different colors are also useful if you end up having some of the same styles and want to help differentiate who they belong to.
100% GET THESE.
COMPACT POWER STRIP
Some hotels may not have a lot of accessible or convenient outlets. If you're like my family you have phones, watches, airpods, tablets, and now MagicBands to charge on a trip in one hotel room. Packing one or two of these can be a lifesaver.
THIS IS A GREAT PURCHASE. WE ACTUALLY USE THIS ONE IN MY SON'S ROOM REGULARLY AND TAKE IT ON TRIPS.
MESH ZIPPER POUCHES
I'm a HUGE fan of these and use them all the time for various things! But these were clutch for packing our park backpack! Taking a backpack through park gate security means it possibly needs a full check by the security officer. They take pretty much everything out of the bag. Because I had things sorted in these pouches it made it so much faster and then easier to repack!
JUST GO AHEAD AND PURCHASE A SET OR TWO OF THESE. YOU'LL END UP SEEING ME RECOMMEND THEM FOR SO MANY THINGS BECUASE THEY ARE SO USEFUL!
SILICONE STRAWS AND HOLDERS
You'll only find paper straws at Disney World and are not fans of paper straws! We used these more than I even anticipated. This length didn't work for our Dining Plan Resort Cups though, so I had thankfully packed some extras we already had. I liked that everyone had their own color storage case, too! I had ambitions of putting names on the cases but that didn't happen...
FOR NORMAL USE THESE ARE GOOD. IF YOU KNOW YOU'RE GETTING THE DINING PLAN WITH THE RESORT CUPS SEE THE RECOMMENDATION BELOW.
If I had to do it again, I'd still purchase the set above for the carrying cases alone. I can't find any other comparable ones and I really like those. I would still purchase a set of straws that are at least 8.5" to 10" to use for the Dining Plan Resort Mugs. We have a few different sizes of this brand and like them.
MICKEY AIRTAG HOLDERS
I had an AirTag in each bag we had with us and one for our stroller as well. This gave me so much more peace of mind that we weren't leaving things behind!
I LOVED THESE AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.
APPLE AIRTAGS
I PUT AN AIRTAG IN EVERYTHING IMPORTANT AND ON MY KIDS.
LUGGAGE TAGS
We needed some new luggage tags so each bag we had, including backpacks, got a new Disney themed tag. #TeamBoyMom here, but this brand has you covered for cute princesses, Mickey & Minnie, Pooh, and Toy Story as well!
THESE HELD UP GREAT THROUGH TRAVEL ON CHECKED BAGS, CARRYONS, AND OUR PARK BAGS.
SUNGLASSES
I needed a new inexpensive pair so I wouldn't be devastated if I lost my nice ones. I wanted a pair of Goodr, but none I liked could make it on time. I'm so glad I found these though! Seriously my new fav and will be my go to now for replacing sunglasses. I got 2 colors and the color options are amazing!!!

KIDS SUNGLASSES
The kids needed some new ones as well. I liked that these came with a case. It was really handy for keeping up with them since they took them off a lot.
CUTE FOR THE PARK AND GREAT FOR USE AFTER THE TRIP AS WELL.
I got a cheaper set for back up as well.
NO COMPLAINTS ON THESE.
PRESSED PENNY BOOK
I grabbed one of these and I'm so glad I did! Collecting pressed pennies turned out to be one of their favorite activities! It was a great distraction when we needed to kill time before a reservation or with the little one while waiting for others to finish a ride. I went with the animal theme because we stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge!
UNLESS YOU WANT PRESSED PENNIES EVERYWHERE OR TEARS FROM THAT LOST FAVORITE, GET ONE OF THESE.
DISNEY TRADING PINS
We made our own starter kits for trading pins. These bulk packs were a great start and we knew there'd be some my kids would be willing to trade and learn the process.
THESE ARE GREAT FOR THE PRICE. YOU CAN SPEND A SMALL FORTUNE ON PINS IN THE PARKS.
LANYARD FOR TRADING PINS
There are tons of options for lanyards in the parks and resort shops of course. But if you know you want a specific theme or want to save some money you should purchase ahead of time. #TeamBoyMom again and we went with these.
NO COMPLAINTS.
PARK SOUVENIRS PURCHASED AHEAD
If you're looking to save a little money you can find some cheaper park style souvenirs and toys online to whip out when you get there. The kids loved this light up bubble wand. This brand also has you covered for Princesses, Minnie, and Toy Story
PRO TIP: Save this for when you feel like you're kid is approaching a meltdown and hopefully it will help diffuse the situation.
IF YOU WANT TO PURCHASE AHEAD AND PACK IT, GO FOR IT. OTHERWISE THE STYLES ARE ENDLESS IN THE PARKS.
GLOW STICKS AND WANDS
Great extra entertainment for when the sun goes down and super helpful if you attach a few to your stroller. Pack enough for each night.
PRO TIP: Use extras for glow baths. Just light up a few and you have a brand new twist on bath time! It's great if you have a toddler who is going through a bath refusal stage.
IT IS NOT A MUST, BUT FUN.
WATER BOTTLE WITH FILTER
I am super picky about how water tastes and had read on some blogs to get one of these because Florida water can taste different to some people, especially out of water fountains. I ended up not using this at all. We went in January and did not have to deal with the Florida heat at that time. Had it been hotter, I may have used this for extra water in the parks but we refilled our regular water bottles when we had meals and were totally fine doing that.
I WOULD NOT TAKE IT WITH ME TO THE PARK AGAIN. BUT IF A FILTERED BOTTLE APPEALS TO YOU, THIS ONE SEEMS GOOD.
BELT BAG
I needed to upgrade my belt bag for a little more space. This one definitely had more space than my current one, but I was not a fan of the clip for the extra strap length. It just did not stay in place with as much activity and taking my backpack on and off. I'm still using it after the trip though and it is not as noticeable with normal daily use.
I WOULD HAVE LOOKED FOR A DIFFERENT STYLE WITH A MORE SECURE STRAP.
